While I admit that given their size, that Southern Shores Real Estate Group in Charleston SC appears to be quite successful, and therefore I assume that they are taking care of many clients, I found Rodney to be quite unprofessional, abrasive and condescending. I am so glad that we did not sign any contract with this man. I choose to take my business elsewhere. PS. I notice that most of the 4-star reviews for this company are from good ole’ “A Google User” Hmmm….

I have an Audible.Com account, and I have had to call Audible.com on three occasions to correct issues with my account (all my fault).

1). I signed up for Audible.com account, and then realized I had an account from way back, (an intro offer type offer which I never used). I called Audible and explained the issue, they immediately closed the old account with my one credit, and placed it on my new account.

New Update

The update is that the company obviously cared about the lukewarm review (see below). The Manager made an appointment for a personal appointment to re-assess the situation. The Manager was a real nice guy, super professional, gave me a reasonable quote to FIX the doors in the short term, rather than install everything new.

I purchased about $7000 worth of kitchen cabinets and installation services from LOWES INC. (www.lowes.com) located at 3125 Glenn McConnell Pkwy, Charleston, SC 29414. These cabinets are made by MASTER BRAND INC. (http://www.masterbrand.com/) (a subsidiary of FORTUNE BRANDS INC) located at One MasterBrand Dr. P.O. Box 420 Jasper, IN 47547. They were delivered by ON TIME SERVICES located at 120 Queen Pkwy, West Columbia, SC 29169.

My wife is a Public School Educator and she recently had a national conference in Houston TX concerning a program which helps underprivileged kids. Given that my work can be done anywhere, she asked me to travel with her and I agreed. My only concern was that while I ounce traveled quite a bit in my younger years, I have not done much post 9/11 traveling given the increased hassle factor with TSA and all their rules and the Airlines and all their rules.

So the owner of this company tracked me down using the internet and then a voice mail that said, “…if this is the Scott Blalock that had a bad experience with Servant Plumbing… please call me….”. Long story short, the guy was very nice, although outspoken. He told me that the tech in my story had had several issues and was let go as a result. Then he said I was charged too much and wanted to send me $100 back. I told him I appreciated that and I would update my review. The interesting part is he really did not care if I updated the review, he just wanted to do what he thought was right.

With the success of Amazon selling online through their marketplace, they opened up the market place to allow third-party vendors to sell as well. DO NOT purchase items which are not sold and fulfilled by Amazon!

When it comes down to issues with the third-party vendors, they do not have the power to force the vendors to respond to you or to do anything about complaints. 

I am an Amazon Prime member and just one bad third party transaction reversed years and years of "savings" realized by buying from Amazon.

I was attempting to purchase a car from Lake Keowee Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram, and while they have the vehicle I wanted, I would not purchase it from them if they drop the price to zero and paid me $40,000.00.
